We design locating, holding and assembly tooling around your component, process and access requirements.
- An operator needs to locate or hold a component consistently during assembly or inspection.
- A new part variant needs a fixture adapting, rather than rebuilding the whole setup.
- You need a dedicated design package for a jig, workholding fixture or assembly tool.
- Locating and holding concepts
- Assembly fixtures and nests
- Workholding and inspection fixtures
- Interchangeable tooling and change parts
- Operator access and component interfaces
- Fixture assembly and detail drawings
Share the component CAD or sample, process sequence, required repeatability, access constraints and production context. We discuss loading, unloading, clamping, contact surfaces and the reviews or trials needed.
Depending on your brief, the package can include:
- Fixture concept and agreed design layout
- SolidWorks assembly and component models
- Manufacturing and assembly drawing package
- BOM and bought-in component references
The fixture design scope is agreed separately from manufacture, installation and process validation. Trials and acceptance criteria are defined with the client where required.
