Project enquiries
CJM Engineering uses the contact details, project information and files you submit to assess your enquiry, discuss requirements, prepare a scope or quotation and manage subsequent correspondence. The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, with optional company and telephone details.
Only your name, email address and message are required. Company and telephone details are optional. Please avoid sharing sensitive project details until confidentiality arrangements have been agreed.
Storage and access
Enquiry records submitted through the contact form are held in the website hosting provider’s database and private file storage. The enquiry review area is restricted to the authorised CJM owner. A PDF copy is sent to CJM’s business inbox through its transactional email provider. The contact form does not accept file uploads. Files shared separately are handled through the agreed project arrangements.
Marketing and retention
Sending the contact form does not subscribe you to marketing emails. CJM retains enquiry information for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, related correspondence and applicable record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained.
Analytics preferences
You can accept or reject optional analytics in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change it. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from browsing or making an enquiry.
On the live website, optional Google Analytics 4 measures visits, traffic sources, page use and enquiry activity after acceptance. Form answers, contact details, enquiry references and uploaded files are excluded from analytics events. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. Google may process analytics information outside the UK. See Google’s privacy policy.
Contact and requests
For access, correction or deletion requests, or to withdraw marketing consent, email Hello@CJM-Engineering.com. Include your enquiry reference where available. CJM will explain if any information must be retained.
